You can place views in “popup frames”. A popup frame is a separate window that remains active across views. For example, if you place the Spreadsheet view in a popup frame, it remains visible even when you switch to the Drawing Wireframe view.
Tip: Alternatively, click the Pop-Up Window tool on the View toolbar.
The Pop-Up Window button.
Result: A new window containing a copy of the selected view opens.
Popup frames have all the functionality of the original view and are fully integrated with the other views in the event document. This means that changes to other views are reflected in the popup frame view. Similarly, any changes in the popup frame view are reflected in the other views. You can resize popup frames and move them to any location on the screen or across monitors.
Note: A user’s popup frames will be remembered after a file is saved. The next time the file opens, the popup will appear in the same location for user convenience.
Result: The popup window expands to fill the entire screen.
Tip: You can also click the Minimize button.
Result: Only the title bar displays.
