The status bar displays along the bottom of the Vivien screen, below the layout tabs. The status bar displays the prompt line, selected object information, and displays the status of the units, snap and ortho commands. It also displays the cursor coordinates and the Height value for the Plan view in Drawing Wireframe.
The prompt line displays the current status of a command in your drawing. If you are currently working with a command that requires multiple steps (the placement of a truss, for example), the prompt line displays a message indicating the next step required to accomplish that task. The prompt line also displays a short description of a command when you point your cursor at it. When Vivien is waiting for your input, the Prompt line says "Ready".
When tables and seats are added in the wireframe drawing, a record of the amount is kept and displayed.
When there are objects selected in the workplane, the Selection Count provides you with more information about the selection. “O” stands for the number of objects currently selected. “F” stands for the number of fixtures selected.
When the cursor is on the work area of a wireframe drawing, the cursor position displays in the middle of the status bar.
In Vivien Virtual Event Designer, the X,Y, Z coordinates display the cursor’s distance from the origin of the drawing. For more information on coordinates, refer to "3D coordinate system".
While working in Plan view, the Height value displays on the status bar. The Height value is the coordinate not represented in a 2D view of your drawing when seen from the top. You can set the value of this coordinate to help you place objects vertically. For more information, "The Height value".
The units, ortho, and snap indicators show the status of these items.
The units indicator shows the measurement system used, Metric or Imperial. You can change this setting on the fly by double-clicking the indicator in the status bar. For more information, see "To change the drawing measurement units" below.
If the snap or ortho indicator is black, the respective setting is active. If the indicator is gray, the setting is not active.
For information about Snap settings, see "Snaps". For information about Ortho settings, "Orthographic mode".
The measurement units indicator on the Status bar tells you which units are currently being used to draft and display your drawing, either Metric or Imperial.
While in any of the tabs, double-click the measurement units indicator (either Metric or Imperial).
Result: The units instantly change to Metric or Imperial.
